Paris Elected to Host 2024 Olympics

WorldMozaic - Paris Elected to Host 2024 Olympics.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced on Wednesday (13/9/2017) that Paris will host the Summer Olympics in 2024, and the 2028 Olympics will be held in Los Angeles after voting at its headquarters in Peru.

The 2024 Olympics will mark the 100th anniversary of the last time Paris hosted in 1924. This means that Paris will host the third Olympics. Paris first hosted the Olympics in 1900.

Los Angeles will also host the game for the third time, having previously hosted the Olympics in 1932 and 1984. The Los Angeles Olympics will end the 32-year period without a summer match being held in the US.

Wednesday's decision marked the first time the IOC announced at once two Olympic Summer venues, ending speculation in which the game would take place.

This is a good news for the France. Let's hope the best for the olympic.
